Where do we get so many great students in our Band?

Pioneer Middle School is our primary source of incoming freshman students to the Cooper City High School Band. In the 2005 school year, we gained almost 80 new band members from Pioneer.

Why are the students from Pioneer so great?

Because of their band director, Mr. Richard Uhler

For many of our kids, they started their music education by joining the band program in 6th grade at Pioneer. Mr. Uhler does a tremendous job teaching these kids to read music and to play an instrument for the first time.

Why is the band program at Pioneer so successful?

Yes, Mr. Uhler! But even more importantly, because their principal provides very strong and positive support for the band.....thank you Mr. Consaul!
